ATINY were pleasantly surprised this morning as Mingi was announced as the newest face for Calvin Klein’s new cozy collection in addition to both Yunho and Hongjoong appearing to be teasing potential fashion collaborations with Ralph Lauren and Valentino respectively. These brands are ones that the ATEEZ members are familiar with, either at a group level or on a more individual inclination towards them.

Calvin Klein released several posts early this morning with the posts promoting the Modern Cotton Holiday Trunk, which Mingi was modeling in addition to dark-wash jeans pants and jacket, stylistically left open and without any undershirt. Mingi also added an additional photo left out of the shoot on his IG story with a similar styling with more of a relaxed feel, opting for a zipped-down sweatshirt and puffer jacket and jeans and letting the waistband do all the talking. Both shoots really showcase the comfortable, yet wholly seductive energy that Mingi has been known for within his stage persona and helps blend his personal style with the minimalism and accessibility that Calvin Klein’s brand has grown to embody.
Calvin Klein has been an easily recognizable name in the world of both designer and mid-price fashion. Established in 1968 by the eponymous founder in New York City, the brand initially started as a coat shop yet quickly gained popularity, as it was only a year later that Klein’s first collection was published in Vogue. Over time, the brand evolved to begin adding items that became staples to their contemporary commodities, from lifestyle items like fragrances and watches to various clothing items such as jeans, jackets, and underwear.
Mingi’s collaboration may be the only one confirmed of them, however it’s far from the only one that has ATINY buzzing with excitement. Last week, Yunho released a series of photos on Instagram donning the iconic polo logo synonymous with the American brand Ralph Lauren on a very cozy, cream sweater paired with straight-leg, medium-wash denim jeans, black boots, and a white button-up poking up from under the sweater. The entire look is topped with a simple, black, slim tie that’s knotted into a messy asymmetric bow, coming together to create a relaxed and comfortable look when paired with the domestic, festive background.
Yunho is no stranger to Ralph Lauren, having worn plenty of their garments in the past. ATINY agree that the brand’s sporty-yet-preppy style suits him. And with both this photoshoot and the recent Dispatch photos of Yunho sporting the Oilcloth Bike Coat, it’s hard to argue against it. Speculation about further partnerships between the two began to pick up traction when Kay Sung, the Public Relations Assistant Manager for Ralph Lauren, liked the IG post that the brand was tagged in. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the increase in posts sporting the looks appear to be a bit more than just appreciation of the brand.
As if Yunho’s latest airport look didn’t stir up enough talk of future collaborations, Hongjoong had sported items from the latest Valentino Resort 25 collection. Valentino has been a brand that ATEEZ have loved to sport for a while, even extending a partnership to co-create the iconic Coachella outfits alongside Dolce & Gabbana. The inclusion of look 21, which is comprised of blue wide-leg pants, a blue and white ruffled long-sleeve top, and a tan overcoat, to Hongjoong’s wardrobe may not mean anything official at this time, but the Balmain Prince is certainly one who looks for brands that meet his exceptional standards and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him pairing up with them in the months to come.
