When it comes to the goals and aspirations of ATEEZ’s members, they have often shared their dreams in terms of their musical career, such as performing at certain events or winning certain awards. And many of these goals have already been achieved, not to mention all the accomplishments they’ve made that they never even dreamed of!

But they’ve also shared some personal goals that don’t have as much to do with their musical careers, and fans enjoy getting to learn more about their dreams as people, not just K-Pop idols. For example, Hongjoong aspires to create his own fashion line someday, and we have no doubt that he will do just that, given his ambition and drive!

Recently, the members of ATEEZ released a photoshoot and interview with DAZED KOREA, which has been a delight to experience. Not only are the photos from the shoot absolutely stunning, but we’ve been getting to learn more about ATEEZ from the questions that were asked and the answers they gave in response.

For San’s interview, one of the questions he was asked was about language and what it means to the idol. In usual San fashion, he gave an answer that not only exemplified his love for ATINY, but also his ambitious mindset that goes beyond his performance abilities: Learning three languages by the time he’s 30!

“I started studying properly because I wanted to make sure my thoughts and feelings could be conveyed clearly to our fans. My goal right now is to master 3 languages by the time I turn 30. I’m slowly making progress toward that goal.”

During his recent appearance on Lee Mujin Service, San mentioned how he believes being an idol is a job that requires one to “burn their youth” more strongly than others, and that he tells himself to make his twenties brilliant. Therefore, it comes as little surprise that he’d have such an ambitious goal for himself on top of all his musical accomplishments!

Fans have reacted to his goal with endearment and affection, as well as sharing their own hopes to become fluent in multiple languages and the inspiration San has given them.

We’re sure that San is capable of reaching his goal with no problem, and we look forward to hearing his lovely voice fluently speaking a variety of languages in the future!
