Since ATEEZ’s latest album, Golden Hour : Part.2, came out on November 15, ATINYs have been eagerly waiting to see how the K-Pop group would chart on Billboard, particularly the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. This chart is especially challenging for foreign artists to chart on, considering the majority of the results is determined by album sales in the United States.

But thanks to the hard work and efforts of international ATINYs, ATEEZ has deservedly earned their second album at the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart after their best U.S. sales week so far! Golden Hour : Part.2 sold over 179,000 units in the first week in the U.S., and has earned ATEEZ the title of becoming the third K-Pop act to have multiple albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The only other artists to accomplish this feat are BTS and Stray Kids, who have had six and five albums reach No. 1 respectively. Golden Hour : Part.2 is also the 26th mostly non-English-language album to ever reach No. 1, and the third to do so in 2024.

With Jin’s solo album Happy and ENHYPEN’s album ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream- entering the Billboard 200 chart at No. 4 and No. 7 respectively, this week also marks the first time that three K-Pop albums have been in the top 10 at the same time.
