ATINY were thrilled to see speculations come true as San attended the ELLE Style Awards on October 17. There had been rumors leading up to the event hosted at S Factory in Seongsu-dong, however we not only got confirmation as he walked the carpet, but also celebrated his win for the “Best K-Pop Icon” award.

Coming off of the major appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana showcase in Milan just a month prior, San turned heads in a long, sophisticated coat from Look 5 of their 2024/2025 Milan runway show. The oversized coat, already seen at the Milan runway show in September as Look 5, is a short staple length wool material with a combination of a broad, peak lapel and a sash belt. These major features helped structure San’s physique extraordinarily, strengthening the focus onto his shoulders and waist in a wonderful show of tailoring. He kept the look minimalistic with a slim-fit trouser and pair of classic leather shoes. The only adornment other than a pair of rings is the ornate bronze feather D&G brooch, which acts as a quiet yet impactful accessory that reminds me of the motif used for the Spin Off: From The Witness album. The complete look felt almost cozy, like a thick robe that one would wear while lounging next to a roaring fireplace.

Forever a humble man, he gracefully thanked those along the way for his success as he accepted the award, including fellow ATEEZ members, KQ’s CEO Kim Gyuwook, staff and stylists, family members, and ATINY. He offered a sentimental message for his grandfather, promising to remain his most authentic self first and foremost, before leaving the stage with a smile.

The ELLE Style Awards mark a plethora of shows revolving around the eponymous fashion magazine. Events such as this awards show allow aspiring professionals within the fashion, culture, and art industries to receive incredible opportunities, including mentorships for designers, artists, writers, and photographers.

Other notable attendees included actor Hye-ri, Lee Soo-hyuk, and CL, the latter of whom was presented with the ELLE “Woman Of The Year” award. With such lovely stars at the event, it truly gave San the chance to shine on his own as the sole active K-Pop performer at the event as a whole.

With a performance scheduled November 3 for Grand Mint Festival 2024 and whispers of a rumored comeback in mid-November, we’re hoping that San will get to stay domestic and get plenty of rest following such a productive summer. Whatever his and ATEEZ’s next move is, we here at TinyTown News are sure that it’ll be a new level of show-stopping.
