Out of all the favorite ships among the ATEEZ members, Hongjoong and Seonghwa (known as Seongjoong or MATZ) is arguably one of the most beloved. Affectionately dubbed the “parents” in the group, the two oldest members appear to have a very close and precious bond, even if they sometimes try to pretend otherwise!

A couple of weeks ago during Paris Fashion Week, when it was revealed that Hongjoong and Seonghwa’s time in Paris would briefly overlap, fans were delighted at the possibility that the two would be able to meet up. They weren’t sure at first if they would have time with their busy schedules, but they did end up revealing that they were able to spend a brief period of time together in the lobby of Seonghwa’s hotel.

However, based on recent social media posts, ATINYs suspect that the two actually spent more time together in Paris than they claimed! Looking at photos that they shared on their respective Instagram accounts, Hongjoong and Seonghwa clearly took them in what appears to be the same hotel room and balcony.

And that’s not the only MATZ behavior that has fans losing it. On Hongjoong’s most recent Instagram post shared earlier today, which talks about his upcoming birthday project “Global 6k for Water”, Seonghwa left a one-word comment that is endearing ATINYs.

Needless to say, fans are sharing their delight, excitement, and emotional states on social media due to these interactions.

MATZ’s chemistry is insane, after all, so what can we do? 😉
