Right around the time that ATEEZ first debuted in late 2018, their staff members decided to pull a “prank” on some of the members. However, this “prank” ended up just showing how kind-hearted they were even during their rookie days, a trait that has stayed with them even as they’ve skyrocketed in popularity!

The video shows three different scenarios, two of which feature Seonghwa and one featuring Wooyoung (with a short clip of San at the end). In the first video, a staff member appears carrying a heavy box of supplies and, without prompting, Seonghwa takes the cumbersome burden from her. He also looks after her on the road, making sure she doesn’t get hurt in traffic.

In the second “prank”, a little girl approaches Seonghwa and tells him that she got separated from her mom. He gently comforts her, getting down to her level to talk to her kindly and try to reassure her that things will be okay. After going through some options for how best to help her, he waits for her to consent to him taking her to a place where he believes they could get some help.

Finally, Wooyoung ends up in a situation where a delivery person appears to fall quite violently in front of him, dropping his delivery box in the process. Though the man chastises Wooyoung and tells him he needs to watch where he’s going, Wooyoung makes sure that he’s okay and helps to clean up the mess. Afterwards, when he’s told that the situation was a prank, he gets a kick out of the entire ordeal but still double-checks to make sure the “delivery driver” is alright since he seemed to fall so hard!

It seems like they pulled the same prank on San, though only a short portion of his video is included. When asked if he’s an idol, San just shyly and humbly says that he “just likes music”.
