Despite the end of summer, the fashion world is expected to heat up with the confirmation that ATEEZ’s very own San and Wooyoung are scheduled to appear at the Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion week respectively. The Milan showcase will take place September 17 – September 23 while Paris Fashion Week will kick off immediately after, going from September 23 – October 1.
San will be attending the Dolce & Gabbana show, marking the 2nd appearance he’s made for the brand since his attendance to their Alta Moda show on July 2, 2024. While there are no hints at any potential looks he would be sporting at the show, eyes are on him after the exquisite baroque-inspired harness he wore this summer and many are excited to see how he will follow up such a strong entrance to the fashion scene.
Paris Fashion Week will be Wooyoung’s inauguration into the fashion world. He’s confirmed
via fromm messages that he will be present for the Courrèges runway show, which will be held on September 25. The coy announcement is leaving us excited to see his fashion show debut.
Both brands have a rich history within the fashion world. Courrèges, founded in 1961 by Andrés Courrèges, has helped define iconic staples within the industry. His signature “little white dresses” were often paired with what was referred to as the Courreges boot, which were the precursor to the massively popular go-go boots that surged in the 1960s. Courrèges was also credited as one of the creatives responsible for the concept of the miniskirt, though whether he was the de facto creator is still debated. The brand has a history of futuristic, well-structured designs, earning Courrèges the moniker “Space Age designer” following the release of his Spring 1964 collection.

Wooyoung attending the Courrèges show feels like a great match, as Wooyoung’s own style consists of a plethora of mercurial styles that he wears well rather than the clothes wearing him. Additionally, Andrés Courrèges was a former student of the Cristóbal Balenciaga, a staple brand in Wooyoung’s wardrobe.
Dolce & Gabbana are a much more contemporary brand by comparison, having been founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The two initially started as a design consulting studio two years prior before shifting into the world of fashion design and launching their first women’s collection. The pair drew inspiration from Italian cinema and bohemian style and patterns, especially when looking at their ready-to-wear dresses. Most pieces include bold, colorful patterns that evoke an Italian, beach-front, summer get-away.

Their pieces don’t just stop at warm, breezy designs to garner that theatrical appeal. Darker pieces, including the harness San wore at the Alta Moda, are just as well-crafted, holding dramatic and impressive amounts of detail to it, almost as if San was adorned in legitimate architecture.

ATINY across social media have been buzzing about the events and are keen to see the two at their events.
Both the Dolce & Gabbana and Courrèges shows will be livestreamed on their specified dates.
