In the summer of 2019, ATEEZ made their first appearance at KCON LA! They were still very much rookies at the time, having just debuted the previous October, but they already had a large fanbase in the U.S. who were excited to see them there.

In addition to performing at the event, ATEEZ also took part in a “DROP THE DANCE” activity. For this game, the group was split into two teams: San’s team with Hongjoong, Wooyoung, and Yeosang, and Jongho’s team with Yunho, Mingi, and Seonghwa. Different songs would play, ranging from the group’s own songs (including sped up versions) to popular Western songs at the time, and the person in the front of their group’s row would dance to the song.

Even though they were still baby K-Pop idols at the time, ATEEZ’s members impressed the crowded audience with their dancing abilities, and the interactions between them during some moments showed the cute bonds they had with each other! Because of just how entertaining the event was, the accompanying video has nearly 13 million views at this time.
