ATEEZ’s members have been called intimidating and even scary at times by those that don’t know them well, based on how intense they can get when they’re performing. While they can seem a bit frightening at first, though, once you get to know them and their actual personalities, you’ll quickly realize that all of the members are sweet, loving, kind-hearted guys who are just incredibly passionate about putting their all into their performances!

San, as a member of the affectionately-named “demon line” of ATEEZ, can seem among the most intimidating members of the group at first. That’s especially true these days, now that he’s become so buff and confident on stage (as he should be)! However, he really is anything but scary, as he’s arguably one of the sweetest, softest, and most romantic members of ATEEZ.

There’s a very understandable and endearing reason why he’s such a romantic person, too. One time while messaging fans, San shared some of the sweet details of how his parents first met and fell in love, and why their story has had such a strong impact on how he views love and romance.

He shared that before his parents met, they actually dreamed about each other. One day later on when his mom visited a bakery, she saw San’s father, who turned out to be the man that she saw in her dream. He was actually a friend of her friend, and that was how the two met. San’s dad was also his mom’s first love, which makes the situation even sweeter.

Translation:

It was really romantic how my mom and dad met

Before my mom and dad met, they said they saw each other in their dream

But my mom went to a bakery one day and saw the man there

It turns out he was a friend of her friend

He added on that the reason he likes romance is because his family is romantic, and that even his father’s time in the military (which is notoriously difficult for many Korean couples) was romantic. His parents even have each other saved as “My Forever Love” in their contacts, which San thinks is especially beautiful!
